Beware of Those You Mourn

Reviews

This book is away from my normal genre but it grabbed my attention and I am so glad I elected to read it. The story details the lives of twin brothers separated at birth after a violent hospital scene. The story-line twist is that they both have supernatural powers, but where do those powers come from?
Seth is placed with a set of parents that are only interested in their monthly paycheck. He leaves as soon as he turns 18 and pursues a life of crime. Caleb, on the other hand, is raised by a wonderful mother that instills positive and good values in her son. Caleb also has a lifetime caring friend, Holly, that only wants the best for him. Whereas, Seth’s “friends” are his gang members. Having no knowledge of each other until they turn 21 the book turns into an excellent story about good and evil. Which brother will win out? Satan or God? And, that’s all I’m going to say – no spoiler alerts here – because I want you to read the book.
This is my first book by Curtis Cooper, but it will not be my last. “Beware of Those You Mourn” is an awesome, well-written book. Curtis Cooper has a detailed writing style that places the reader directly into the story-line. “Beware of Those You Mourn” is a fast paced drama with a side love story. You definitely want to check this one out. An easy 5 outta 5 rating!

No one can can present the subliminal powers of extraordinary people the way Curt Cooper does. This is a mystery story, a story of relationships and a story of great power, all wrapped up in a fast-moving, exciting story. You’ll see the powers as the story moves along, but where it will end, you won’t know until it does. Subtlety in a way, but powerfully. Grab this book right now. I assure you that you won’t regret it.
