Alex Beck has been casually following each case in the newspaper. An opinionated ex- NYPD cop, he makes a meager living as a private detective mainly investigating infidelity. His world changes when Gwen Rosedale, daughter of the president of Rosedale Manufacturing, enters Alex’s Flatbush office and asks him to investigate the circumstances surrounding accusations that her brother killed her father and then committed suicide. As Alex delves into the facts, he uncovers a bizarre method of murder so unusual that his best friend on the police force doesn’t believe it’s possible. Suddenly, Alex and his client become the next targets. On the run, he must determine who his nemesis is and stop him before the two of them become the next victims.
