Once again, I got pulled into an awesome story by this author! I couldn’t put it down. I love the connections made between this book and the Monarch of Pyramid Mountain. This book stayed true to the basics of the first book and the game, yet opened doors for different and interesting scenario. It is also a book that, although part of a series, can stand on its own, if the reader hasn’t read the first, they can still follow everything that happens. The characters and their flaws are something I think most people can relate to. The outcome is just as interesting as the adventure. I highly recommend this book, along with every other book by this author. If you haven’t read his work, you are missing out on some really good reading!!!

Another great book by Mr. Cooper. Loved how he referenced the first book, the Monarch of Pyramid Mountain, yet this story involved completely different characters. From the minute I started reading this I couldn’t put it down. Loved the life lessons learned, the adventures, and of course the game that the book was based on. Great storytelling, attention to details and amazing adventures will keep you wanting more. Can’t wait to read his next book.
